This product works but beware the finicky cat. I have three cats and only one will let me use this product on her. The other two literally hiss and bite at me when I bring the comb any where near them. I suppose I should have seen this coming because the two that hate the FURminator also hate being brushed by a regular brush.
However, if you have a cat that loves to be brushed and sheds a lot, this is a great product. It really does remove bags of fur and she's softer than when I brush her with a regular brush. Her coat looks really healthy as well. Her fur isn't all over the couch anymore.
My husband who is allergic to cat hair hasn't noticed a discernible difference in his allergen sensitivity in the two months that I have owned this brush. I brush her at least every other day if not more.
