I was disappointed - I did not comb out piles (or very much at all) of loose, dead hair from my cat's coat, and I made a good number of attempts at it. The Furminator did an ok job, but in no way was it any better than traditional pet combs and brushes that I use on my medium-haired cat's coat. I was expecting much better results considering the thickness of my cat's fur and his overall lack of self-grooming. For me, this product did not live up to its hype.
